Jordan Kamphuis, P. Eng. Business Development Manager – Electrical Products, Siemens Canada

Jordan has over 7 years of experience in technical solution development, product lifecycle management, and project management at Siemens. He has worked with many transit agencies and commercial fleets across Canada to educate them on electric vehicle charging requirements, as well as propose tailored solutions for their site-specific needs. In his latest role, Jordan is completing consulting engineering work for Canadian clients who are planning to electrify their fleets, by providing them with preliminary conceptual designs and implementation plans for their electrical infrastructure rollout. These plans include recommendations for the optimal mix of chargers, electrical infrastructure, and other Distributed Energy Resources (DERs), which are based on the charging requirements of the client’s electric vehicle fleet as well as other site-specific constraints. Jordan is a member of the CSA C22.2 No. 346 Technical Subcommittee (TSC) for EV DC Charging Systems, as well as the TSC for the new CSA C810 Standard for the Performance of EV DC Fast Chargers. Jordan is a graduate of the Electrical Engineering and Management program at McMaster University and is a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with Professional Engineers Ontario.
