Heather Mathewson Jelsma has an impressive marketing career that spans both the public and private sectors. Guelph Transit benefited from her passion for social media before it became mainstream. She also worked on Guelph Transit’s branding and sponsorship programs.
Now a firecracker in Burlington Transit’s arsenal, Heather is taking their marketing and customer experience to the next level. In her short time as their Transit Marketing & Rider Experience Coordinator, she has moved the needle on their profile, ridership and revenue while inspiring her team of customer service staff.
A mom of two super energetic boys, Heather enjoys life in a small town while working on her Chartered Marketer designation from the Canadian Marketing Association.
