Atiqur Rahman, PhD and also working as a Research Associate the National Research Council of Canada
MD Atiqur Rahman works as a Research Associate at the Automotive and Surface Transportation (AST) Research Centre within the National Research Council Canada (NRC). His work primarily focuses on the research and development of Artificial Intelligence systems using Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques to address various challenges within the transportation sector. These include ensuring road user safety, uncovering vehicle drive cycles, as well as modeling energy demands for zero-emission vehicles. Before joining the NRC, he undertook various research roles in both industry and academia. Atiqur holds a PhD degree in Computer Science from the University of Ottawa, and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Manitoba.
