Manager – Transit Policy and Planning, Durham Region Transit
Nicole is the Planning and Policy Manager with Durham Region Transit, where she is responsible for leading the Service Design, Scheduling, and Eligibility teams. Nicole’s team leads the development, consultation process, and launch of transit service changes, strategic plans, and customer policies across all DRT service models, keeping equity and customer experience top of mind.
Prior to joining Durham Region, Nicole worked as the Program Manager of Service Planning with York Region Transit, where she focused on the development of strategic plans, COVID-19 service recovery, and the growth of On Demand transit service in low density areas. Nicole has also worked as a Transit Advisory Consultant with Stantec Consulting, and managed transportation operations for the 2015 Pan American and Parapan American Games. Nicole holds a Masters of Urban Planning from McGill University, and is a B.A graduate of the University of Toronto.
