David Marigotta, Operations Manager with Durham Region TransitÂ
David is the Operations Manager with Durham Region Transit where he is responsible for service delivery and the supervisory team. He is accountable for managing day-to-day scheduled service as well as demand-responsive services, which include On Demand and specialized. Transit services in Durham are delivered through a combination of in-house and contracted providers and aim to deliver a high-quality customer experience through all the delivery branches. David began his career as a bus operator and before joining Durham, worked in several municipalities as well as in the private sector. David holds a Master of Environmental Studies from York University and is a B.A graduate of the University of Toronto.
