The political environment in Canada is shifting rapidly, and decisions made in Ottawa and at QueenÂ’s Park continue to shape the operating environment for transit, school bus, and motor coach companies. This opening session at the Ontario Transportation Expo (OTE) will provide attendees with a timely and practical overview of the current federal and Ontario political landscape and what it means for the transportation sector.

BIO
Brett is a seasoned government relations professional passionate about Canadian politics, public policy, and building relationships. Brett has over a decade of political involvement with meaningful Hill experience, where he most recently worked for a three-term MP, heading all facets of the MPÂ’s Ottawa office. He has collaborated with municipal, provincial, and federal officials on a wide range of initiatives, delivering key results for policymakers and clients alike. Prior to working in politics, Brett was a part of the Graduate Rotational Program at a major Canadian bank and worked in various roles in strategy & transformation, change management, and business acquisition. He is an excellent communicator who knows how to leverage his time in government and business to advance pivotal advocacy issues on behalf of clients. Brett holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from McGill University, where he graduated with First-Class Honours in Political Science.
