Session Description
The Ontario Public Transit Association (OPTA), in partnership with the Canadian Urban Transit Association (CUTA) Careers in Public Transit Outreach Program (CIPTOP), is excited to introduce the first-ever Transit Talent Career Fair. This initiative aims to connect students (with a revealed interest in a career in public transit) with transit professionals from Ontario’s largest transit agencies. Students will have the chance to:
– Engage with transit experts in planning, scheduling and operations roles;
– Learn about the skills, aptitudes and education needed for a career in transit; and
– Get insight into the exciting projects and innovations in transit in the next 5-10 years.
