Russ Golightly

Russ Golightly is an experienced project manager who has completed several large-scale, green building projects including the award-winning Stoney Compressed Natural Gas Bus Storage and Transit Facility in Calgary, Alberta.  His most recent project, the Halifax Regional Municipality’s Ragged Lake Transit Facility Electric Bus Garage Expansion is currently under construction.  Russ joined AECOM six years ago and has been exclusively focused on the delivery of transit facilities during this time.  Previously with the City of Calgary for 19 years, he was the city’s representative on a number of office building and operation centre projects. It was there that he honed his skills and developed a strong understanding of the multiple processes required—from land development and planning, to negotiating with municipalities through to construction completion and turnover—on large building and facility projects.
