Marie-Pier Nassif, Sr. Director, Transit, Communities & Infrastructure Programs Branch, Infrastructure Canada (INFC)

Marie-Pier joined Infrastructure Canada (INFC) in September 2017 as Director of the North & Ontario regional team, leading the management and delivery of funding programs including the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program (known as “ICIP”) representing a total envelop of over $12 billion dollars that involved major infrastructure projects.

In May 2021, Marie-Pier took on a new role as Senior Director of the Active Transportation and Zero Emission Fleet unit; she built a new team in charge of delivering direct-application programs that are part of the Permanent Public Transit Program. Before joining INFC, Marie-Pier spent a substantial portion of her career at the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) working in international-related sectors, including e-Commerce and bilateral relations. She also worked at Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED) within the Strategy, Results & Research Branch.

Marie-Pier holds a bachelor of Economics & Political Science from Laval University, and a Master of Public Administration from the Ecole Nationale d’Administration Publique.
