Kimberly Earls, Executive Director for SCOR EDC
Kimberly is the Executive Director for SCOR EDC, a municipally owned regional economic development corporation in the south central Ontario region. She has had the privilege to lead the corporation through some key strategic initiatives and led the corporation to develop a strategic plan for the five county region of Brant, Elgin, Middlesex, Norfolk and Oxford counties.
Kimberly currently serves on various committees throughout the South Central Ontario Region, including the London Chamber’s Government Affairs Committee and the Economic Developers Council of Ontario, Elgin Middlesex Oxford Intergovernmental/Inter-ministerial Committee, Workforce Planning Taskforce of Grand Erie, Program Advisory Committee for Conestoga College Agricultural Equipment Operator Program and the Program Advisory Committee for Fanshawe College Agri-business Management Program.
Some notable successes include a number of large regional projects including SCOR FoodHub and Southwest Community Transit. Kimberly has also been a panelist at various speaking and conference events related to economic development.
Before joining SCOR EDC Kimberly worked for a number of municipalities and organizations in the region in economic development related positions. Throughout her career Kimberly has participated in the local business community and sat as an industry stakeholder on numerous Provincial and Municipal Advisory Boards
Prior to her work in the public sector Kim was owner and partner in a successful regional construction and masonry business with her husband for over a decade.
Kimberly is a community builder, advocacy specialist and is passionate about the work she does.
